Made of 100% finest-quality merino wool, Woolino pajamas are the perfect addition to your Woolino baby sleep bag or sack. Merino wool provides powerful natural properties that make it ideal for year-round wear, regardless of the weather.

What's more, medical studies have shown that babies sleeping in merino wool settle more quickly, wake and cry less, sleep longer, and even gain weight faster.

100% Natural

Merino wool comes from Merino sheep, infused with nature’s ability to make it the perfect fiber to have against your baby’s skin.

Silky soft & hypoallergenic

Made of superfine merino wool that is supremely soft against baby’s skin.

Regulates body temperature

One of Merino’s key properties is the ability to keep a baby warm when it’s cold and cool when it’s warm, so you can be assured of the perfect temperature regulation for your little one (something they struggle with until they’re older!).

Warming even when wet

Nighttime accidents happen, but when merino wool gets wet, it retains its warming properties. Your baby will have a comfortable night’s sleep whatever the circumstances.

Ideal for layering

Superbly breathable, lightweight and silky soft - perfect worn on own or layered under clothing or a Woolino Sleep Bag.

    • Won’t wool itch my baby’s skin?

Absolutely not. We use only superfine merino wool, which unlike the traditional wool, feels like silk against baby’s delicate skin. In fact, because of its softness and unique breathability, it is perfect for treating conditions such as heat rash and eczema.

    • Isn’t merino wool too hot for warm temperatures/climates?

Our merino wool baby garments are lightweight and perfect for year-round wear. Merino helps naturally in regulating baby’s body temperature. It creates a micro-climate around them, gaining or losing heat as required to produce warmth in cold conditions and enhance cooling effects in warm conditions.

    • Woolino merino wool garments seems rather thin, should I worry whether it’ll keep my child warm?

Merino provides warmth without having to be bulky. Unlike traditional wool, the finesse of the Merino fiber allows for a very fine spun yarn and knit fabric. Because of the way fine Merino fibers are crimped together, it has greater density than other fibers, which allows it to retain heat better than other thicker fabric.

    • How do I know if my child is hot or cold?

Please check if your baby is hot or cold while sleeping by touching her tummy or behind her neck. Touching baby’s hands and feet are NOT good indications of their actual body temperature.

    • Do Woolino garments need to be washed before the first use?

No, it is not required to wash your Woolino garment prior wearing. When you wash it, please follow the care instructions carefully.

      • Why does wool smell when it gets wet?

There is an odor associated with wet wool, sometimes described as a "wet dog", "burned", or "perm" smell. This particular smell of wet wool is present because we use natural merino wool that has been minimally processed in order to preserve the lanolin content inside the wool.

Lanolin is naturally present in merino wool and is responsible for giving wool all of the great properties that we love: wicks away sweat, resists stains, feels soft to the touch, stays elastic, and resists bacteria and odors. Wool is a natural product. Even if you have multiple products, one may have a higher lanolin content than the other, accounting for a difference in smell.

You should not notice this smell at all when the product is completely dry. Over time, the smell will be less and less noticeable after washing as the lanolin content in the wool dissipates.

      • How to remove stains from wool?

Stains should be treated immediately. Do not apply any form of heat, as this tends to fix most stains making them more difficult to remove.
Rinse the stain immediately and thoroughly in cold water. Then, apply one of these two homemade stain remover mixtures that we recommend:

      1. The preferred option is a mixture of liquid laundry detergent and a few drops of white vinegar. Cover the stain with the mixture and allow the liquid to sit on the stain for at least an hour. Blot the stained area gently with a cloth before rinsing thoroughly with clean water. Repeat if necessary.
      2. Another option is a mixture of one part (1 Tsp) dish soap and two parts (2 Tsp) Hydrogen Peroxide (3%). Apply some of the mixture over the stain and let it sit for several hours. Wash afterwards as usual.

When ready to wash, check the product care tag for best results. Following our recommended care instructions will ensure the best possible wear while maintaining & prolonging the life of your Woolino.

Took our baby on her first camping trip and she stayed cozy and warm the whole time. Even though it got down into the 40s, she slept in the footies and the sleep sack and slept great!

We use this as a base layer under fleece and he stays warm down to about 15 degrees, it's fairly thick and warm. He's 4mos and fits in 3-6 mo well.

I love all of the Woolino products! My son sleeps better in wool than any other material! I was worried about it come summer, but the material is so breathable he always feels comfortable to the touch under the onesie. He also sleeps in the gown and sleep sack. I can’t say enough good things about these products.

This is my first merino wool pajama and I love it for my 6 month old. I bought from Woolino because I love their sleep sacks. The combo of the footed pajamas and sleep sack keeps my baby warm in our home during the winter when it's 65-68 degrees in our bedrooms. The sage green color is really nice.

Very high quality products and great for your adventure baby!! I use these layers for all weather conditions when we hike. They’re also great for traveling because you don’t need to wash them as frequently!

My baby absolutely loves these pjs and they keep her perfectly temperate! They’re the only thing we want to dress her in anymore. As with any 100% wool clothing, the do stretch out over the course of the day and the legs become too long as well as pilling occurs in the high movement areas.

Bought two of the merino wool onesies to keep our newborn warm to and from his first peds appointments in 3 degree polar vortex weather. Super soft material, washes and air dries well. The foldover hands doubled as mittens so we didn’t worry about keeping his hands warm or digging around for tiny mittens. He’s only 7 lbs so the 0-3 m size is a bit big, but he’ll grow into it and has plenty of Midwest winter ahead of him!

Just a really nice onesie! We haven’t noticed any of the purported benefits of wool, but she’s a baby so she can’t tell us. It still looks cozy

Wonderful, stretchy fabric, easy to put on, baby loves it, perfect for winter. Some very minor piling around arms and legs, after multiple washes.

I bought these PJs for our newborn. We’re swaddling her with a light blanket and they keep her warm under the swaddle without us having to sweat ourselves in too warm a room ;). But… she’s wearing them ALL they long, nonstop! We keep our house at 70 degrees in the cold Ohio weather and she was getting a little cold from wearing her cotton onesies only. I do not want her wearing synthetic clothes so real wool was my go to option, and although it was hard to find 100% wool, these Pjs did not disappoint! Planning to get 1 or 2 more for when she spits them.

Customer photo review of Footie Pajamas, Merino Wool, Blush

We needed a onesie to keep our little warm at night, and Woolino merino is so incredibly soft!! We love it. There are a couple oversights by the design department: the main downside is that there is no two-way zipper, so you have to expose her whole body for diaper changes. There also are no fold-over cuffs to keep the hands warm, which in baby sizes are de rigeur for onesies. Also, the legs are super long compared to other onesies, as you can see; but she's only 11 weeks in a 3-6 month size.

This wool is pretty soft. It is a little large on my 8lb new born so I’m using it as a top layer for now with a cotton onesie underneath. The fabric is very breathable. It is a good thickness for layering when it is colder. I like using it for warmth when I need to put her in a car seat.

We have gray and lilac colored sleepers. The sizing is a littler generous but very adaptable! We are just now moving into the 3-6 month size and baby is 14 pounds, 26 inches long. In a way, these grow with our little ones thanks to the miracles of wool! She wore this all throughout our hottest days of summer and kept her perfectly cool, now we use a Woolino onesie underneath for our WNY winters.

Our baby has been very cozy in this wool sleeper particularly for bundling up outside and sleeping at night in our colder room. He may even nap longer in it - his nana who watches him during the day requested we buy a couple more!

Perfect weight for a brisk winter - acts as a base layer for my little one with easy access for diaper changes. Feels exactly like the adult merino base layers I rely on for outdoor adventures!

We have both the grey ans blue. They are so wonderful. I feel so much safer having baby in woolino in this cold weather, he stays warm even if he gets wet from spit up or a diaper leak.

Fits my long baby very well. He has big feet, so I was happy about the big feet in this pj. Also, the zipper has a nice pocket at the top to protect him from getting zipper contact

Customer photo review of Footie Pajamas, Merino Wool, Dove

I ordered 6-9 months size for my 4.5 month old, and it fits pretty good with room to grow. If he's kicking a lot then the feet need pulled back up. I like that it seems to keep him warm in our house that runs on the cooler side these winter months. Also, I like that it is fitted, yet with a lot of give for him unlike synthetic fleece onsies. Only downside is the slight natural wool scent.

My granddaughter loves her super-soft Woolinos! She has a couple pairs, plus two sleep sacks that help her go to sleep snug and comfortable. Whoever thought wool could be so luxurious? Wish I had a pair!

I ordered these pjs a couple weeks ago and my baby has worn them almost every night since. We live in an apartment with no central heat or AC, so it’s comforting to know that the pajamas will help him regulate his body temperature. They’re soft and seem to be very well made.

Customer photo review of Footie Pajamas, Merino Wool, Blue

Love this onesie! I ordered this onesie for a camping trip. Worked great for the cool nights (45-50 degrees F). She slept in the onesie inside her strollers bassinet with a fleece blanket. Worked great for the trip. Then my mom told me to put her in the onesie every night. She was waking up at 2:30 for a quick feed but it turns out she wasn’t really hungry but not quite warm enough in our AC’d home. Since putting her in the onesie she has slept through the night (8:30-6:30). Don’t know if it’s the merino wool or just that she’s covered up now. We cloth diaper and it’s roomie for the large diaper she wears. Also, her drool doesn’t make her cold. For reference my girl is 3 months and over 15lbs and it fit big at first. It shrunk a little, but I think it has to do with user error, too cold of water which can shock the fibers. I have a second one I haven’t opened yet so if this one gets too small I’ll switch.

Customer photo review of Footie Pajamas, Merino Wool, Blue

The footie pajamas fit perfectly! They breath very well and are also warm. Our baby spits up a lot and the wool dries incredibly fast, so if we can't change her right away we know she's comfortable.

Customer photo review of Footie Pajamas, Merino Wool, Blue

We absolutely love our woolino pajamas. It is very soft and baby loves wearing it. It is warm enough and super easy to put on in compare to many other baby clothes. Sleeves are wide enough and footies are open enough for easy fit. We wear it almost every day. We love it so much! Also the fact that you don't need to wash it as much even if it got a little bit of pee on, just put it outside to get some wind to dry out and put on again. Thank you Woolino!
